This is the best breakfast I have had in a long time! The pecan waffle was delicious and so were the eggs and bacon. The price was amazing.

Don't judge a book by its cover because you'll miss out on some really great food. I don't care about the decorations when the grits are perfect and the pecan waffles are piping hot. Parking isn't great but just drive around the block a couple times.

I have eaten here for over 10 years. The food is great. I have had just about everything on the menu. My favorites are French Toast, Chicken n Waffles, Hamburgers, but the best is the Half Smoke with mustard, onion, and chili. Do not let the atmosphere scare you. It is old, but very clean. It is crowded because the food is OUTSTANDING.

Amazing breakfast here. Sometimes I get the steak and egg breakfast. Other times I get a sausage and egg sandwich on toast. The homemade iced tea is outstanding as well. Ummm Good! Well prepared and very inexpensive as compared to other places.

Classic neighborhood joint! I've been cooking there since 2006! Good morning spot and dedicated staff. Owner/manager is a nice guy. Sometimes gets a little busy.My order: big breakfast with bacon, home fries and grits, wheat toast with jelly. Eggs over easy or sunny side up

It's my favorite breakfast spot! Food is always fresh, hot, and made with love. This would be considered a hole in the wall spot, but the owner makes sure his food is made with love, so it gives the feel of home cooking! Oh, and they have something for any cravings you may have. Closes before 5, so order early!! Please give this small business a try!!!

Staff are chill and explain things thoroughly. It took about 10 minutes to make my bacon and cheese sandwiches, and the bacon is crispy/chewy (personally I enjoy!). Paid 8 including tax and tip, so if you have 10 and want something local/have the diner experience, go here!(Parking-wise, it's difficult, so I recommend coming here via Metro)
